Make things better by making better things.
I was a bit young for the dot-com era to be thinking about starting a business or making products.
It always seemed like a missed opportunity to build something great.
And now, being old enough during the AI era, you can see why more people didn’t capitalize during the dot-com era.
Most people would rather tweak around the edges, and in this case, optimize their workflow rather than solve interesting problems. A lot of it is trying to optimize for the algorithm era instead of building for the next (better) chapter.
AI is a technological miracle in so many ways. It can unlock so much to just “do things.”
But it won’t happen with a couple of button pushes. Nothing that matters anyway.
