Make things better by making better things.
People can be difficult to work with. Social media has conditioned us to see the worst in them. There is nothing more annoying than people.
And yet…
People bring relationships, connection, and friendship. They create more meaning in our lives.
We can choose to step away from people. Go far enough away, and yes, you will be alone. But when we isolate ourselves, we become less accountable for our actions—there is no one to be accountable to!
We all desire freedom. Freedom from people and the responsibilities that come with them. But without people and responsibilities, total freedom doesn’t create any guardrails for how we conduct ourselves.
Freedom isn’t a place. It is an expression. And the best expression of freedom is play. Play brings us all back together and binds us. And reminds us that people are not so bad.
