Make things better by making better things.
When British mountaineer George Mallory was asked why he wanted to climb Mount Everest, he famously answered, “Because it is there.”
The same can be said of building a tech company out of your garage, going to the moon, sailing the seas, volunteering at the local nonprofit, or playing guitar when it’s obvious you’ll never be selling out stadiums.
“Why do anything?” is a bad question. At this point, it needs to be retired.
Humans are meant to explore. We’re meant to play. There is no why. We do.
